Your keto specialist and keto physician in Germany

Dr. Brigitte Karner, MD

Specialist in General Medicine, Nutrition Medicine (DAEM / DGEM), Modern Phytotherapy, Integrative Psychotherapy, Functional Medicine

Since establishing my private practice as a specialist in general medicine in 1996 and completing advanced training in nutritional medicine with the DGEM, I have gained extensive practical experience in nutritional therapy and built a nutritional medicine center with a teaching kitchen.

While developing a multimodal concept for the treatment of obesity, I came across the ketogenic diet in 2008 and have successfully used it ever since. It has now become an integral part of supportive therapy for chronic diseases such as diabetes, neurological disorders, migraines, cancer, dermatological and autoimmune diseases. For years, I have been fascinated by the healing potential and the improvement in patients’ quality of life, as well as the reduction in medication use achievable through ketogenic nutrition.

I am co-author of “Der Keto-Kompass,” “Keto-Kompass Kochbuch,” and “Keto Richtig gesund,” write articles, give lectures and seminars, and enjoy sharing my many years of practical experience and expertise in teaching and implementing ketogenic concepts.

I became a physician specialized in keto…
